Add to the list of painful jobs - putting up colour bond fences.
Got teh fence up - needed to core drill the retaining wall. Wish i had a photo of that, but a massive drill putting 50mm Holes in solid concrete. Yes that was fun.
Any end result the fence is now up.
Oh and the slab is for the air conditioning

March - Skip Bin time ( second time and bigger one )
While a lot of the photos are of the outside we are still doing stuff on the inside as well
Got the plantations shutter inside the house done
Also got a big ass skip bin to fill.
Also had to restain the merbau posts at the front of the house.

Back deck showing the slab ... I think this was when i was filling in the retaining wall with conrete.

February 7th Concrete slab and retaining wall
What a mammoth task - seriously never lay you own slab, it is back breaking.
Laying the rio took 2 weekends to complete.
Pouring the concrete with a pump took about 4 hours.
Hard work!

Late Jan - Early Feb - Form work and lights
Got The lights in and started the formwork on the pool area.
The Grass kept getting trashed but amazing what a bit of seeding, fertiliser and water will do.
THe pool area is now ready for steel
This is lovely pile of bricks i have manually carried to the front yard.. . you will see this in a skip shortly ... ok maybe a couple of months ;-)

January - Getting the pool deck ready.
Starting to get the pool deck ready - what a mammoth job this turned out to be.
15 cubic metres of concrete.
A heap of steal rod and reinforcing.
160 drill holes into hte side of the pool
Taking a hole heap of bricks out of the side of the pool and carrying to the front yard.
Putting in the electrical cabling to add lights to the retaing wall
Brick wall is angled around the rock.

December - Moving in and Slowing down.,...
OK, so we have moved in and I have not updated the blog in 6 months so a bit of catching up to do.
After we moved in - started on the pool clean up.
Waited 15 months to take this photo....
So nice to have a beer with a view.

19th of November
Well there has been no updates as we have been settling in and there has been heaps of little things to do....
But time to get on to the next update.
moving in weekend - first car up the drive ! Onya Keith
First major job over the first couple of weeks was get the fence put back up and this is the start.
